Fleur Tchibota

Ms. Tchibota is a multilingual public affairs and investment promotion professional with more than 20 years of experience, working with leading corporate organizations and institutions in Africa and beyond, predominantly in the finance and investment industry. She joined Africa50 from the African Export-Import Bank where she was Communication Manager, Public Affairs from 2015 to 2018. Previously she was Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Nestle in Cote d’Ivoire, and prior to that, she was Country Head of Resources and Investment Relationship Manager at United Bank for Africa in Côte d’Ivoire.
Fleur started her career in South Africa, with communications consultancy firms ZK Communications and BAM Marketing, where she managed several brands, including the telecommunications operator Zain and various government agencies. Tri-lingual in French, English, and Spanish, Fleur has extensive experience in investment communications, brand management, and thought leadership advocacy, particularly in banking, economic development, agro-industry, and telecoms.
Fleur has a post-graduate degree in Management, awarded with Distinction from the University of Cape Town, and a Master’s in International Trade from Institut Européen de Commerce et de Gestion, La Rochelle, France and the University of Plymouth, UK.
