Eugene Awori
Senior Investment Associate
Eugene Awori joined Africa50 in 2021 as an Investment Associate in the Project Finance team.
Previously he worked with IFC (World Bank Group) in London, where he supported debt and mezzanine investments in infrastructure projects and financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. He started his career at Centum Investment in Nairobi, where he worked on greenfield energy investments in geothermal and thermal power. He was also an intern at Actis in London as an MBA Associate.
Eugene holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, and a BS in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.
