In an exclusive interview with CNBC Africa, Alain Ebobissé, Africa50 CEO shared insights on financing Africa’s transformation in a changing global financial system – a topic which was central to the conversations during the African Development Bank Meetings in Nairobi, Kenya. On the sidelines of the Meetings, the Republic of Rwanda and Africa50 signed the implementation agreement for the Kigali Innovation City, which in this interview, Mr. Ebobissé explained, will contribute significantly towards building an ecosystem of African and global companies that will produce technology on the continent. "The Kigali Innovation City project supports Rwanda’s vision of helping to create an Africa that does not only consume technology but produces technology,” he said.
