Connecting Africa Together: MTN and Africa50 explore ways to further digital connectivity on the continent

Africa50 CEO, Alain Ebobissé led a delegation to meet with MTN Group President & CEO Ralph Mupita; MTN Chief Commercial Officer Selorm Adadevoh; and Bayobab CEO Frédéric Schepens to discuss a partnership on project East2West.
The project is a pan-African terrestrial fiber optic cable which will help bridge the continent’s connectivity gap by improving broadband access for several landlocked African countries. They also explored other cooperation initiatives to further digital connectivity across Africa.
