Africa50 marks International Women's Day with an interactive session for staff

On the occasion of women’s day, Africa50 held an engaging fireside chat with some of the inspiring women in the organization.

The conversation was around this year’s theme, DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality, their career paths, and personal challenges and how they overcome them. 

The two principal speakers were Dana Bennett, Principal Legal Counsel; and Soline Miniere, Investment Director.

During the discussions, Tshepidi Moremong, Chief Operating Officer of Africa50 said, "We are trying to drive equity and fairness in the organization. It is good that 54% of staff and 35% of Board members are women, but we have to do more for inclusive representation of women at all levels. This is what we are striving to achieve”.
