Guinea seeks Africa50’s Assistance For Infrastructure Projects in Transport, Logistics and ICT Sectors
Guinean President H.E. Alpha Condé received Africa50 CEO Alain Ebobissé in audience, to discuss opportunities to collaborate with Africa50 to structure and mobilize financing for various projects.
The projects include the expansion and rehabilitation of the Conakry airport, the development of a deep-sea port project and fiber optical backbone infrastructure.
President Condé reiterated his country’s support to Africa50’s work, noting that the institution’s expertise could help mobilize much needed financing to support the implementation of Guinea’s priority infrastructure projects.
Responding, Mr. Ebobissé reaffirmed Africa50’s interest in developing such projects expeditiously, through a collaborative effort with its partners and the Guinean government.
