AfDB Board of Directors Visits Africa50
As part of their regular visits to regional member countries, eleven members of the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank visited Morocco from January 25-28. Aside from a visit to the solar power plant at Ouorzazote, they requested a meeting with the Africa50 leadership on January 26, 2018.
The Members of the Board spent half a day with Africa50. They received an update from CEO Alain Ebobissé and the senior leadership team on Africa50’s progress, including its strategy, projects, fund raising, and operations. The Board members expressed their continuing strong support for Africa50 in finding bankable projects on the continent and in getting the remaining African states on board as shareholders.
